Our good friends Rob and Tammi from Van Westen Vineyards in Naramata will host an evening sharing wine, and three generations worth of Naramata farming stories on Monday February 9th at 7:00p.m. in the Salt Cellar at Salt Tasting Room! Rob Van Westen is a third generation farmer in the region, his parents and grandparents cultivating peaches and cherries over the decades, and has since entered the world of winemaking. Rob's wines are all handcrafted, small-batch quality and have won numerous awards locally and nationally! He will guide guests through everything from Viognier to his Bordeaux-inspired blend, plus he'll be offering barrel samples of upcoming releases, and opening up a special aged release from his personal cellar. Van Westen's wines will be served with a wide array of Salt's artisan cheeses, charcuterie from Oyama Sausage Factory, J.N.&Z. Deli, Moccia's Italian Meat Market and more! Tickets are $70, inclusive of tax and gratuity, and you can call us at 604-633-1912 to book your spot!
