The Salt Cellar Series: Road 13
Tuesday, September 8th, 7:00 p.m. - $65
Established as Golden Mile Cellars in 1998, Road 13 Vineyards create wines that express the special character of the South Okanagan's renowned Golden Mile. Their motto: "It's All About The Dirt" reflects their belief that great wines start in the vineyard. Winemaker Michael Bartier produces a wide and dynamic range of whites and reds, has received four Lieutenant Governor's Award for Excellence for his wines and 13 medals at the most recent Okanagan Fall Wine Festival. Bartier's Chenin Blanc from 44-year-old vines has become legendary among wine fans in the province, and he looks forward to chatting with guests about the diversity of soils and vineyards that have created his much-acclaimed Viognier, Syrah, Chenin and more.
This event will take place along the backdrop of Salt Cellar's 1000–bottle wine cooler, in an intimate setting that will include hand-crafted charcuterie from local producers such as J, N & Z Deli, Moccia's, and Oyama Sausage Company, along with artisan cheeses from Neal's Yard (UK), Italy, Spain, and British Columbia.
Tickets are $65, which includes all food, wines, taxes and gratuity!
